Suited to brand new artists with little to no prior special effects experience who want to learn how to start creating realistic wounds

Over 2 days we will cover

• Anatomy and physiology and how it applies to special effects

• Colour, lighting, bruising, burns and wound theory

• Creating realistic bruising, scrapes and cuts using a selection of direct application products and techniques.

• Applying, colouring and removing professional encapsulated silicone prosthetics

CREATING SILICONE PROSTHETICS

Suited to artists with an understanding and experience of the basics but now wishing to make their own prosthetic and pro bondo pieces 

Over 3 days we will cover 

• Anatomy and physiology and how it applies to special effects

• Colour, lighting, bruising, burns and wound theory

• Sculpting, moulding and producing your own professional encapsulated silicone prosthetics and pro bondo pieces with moulds you get to keep 

• Applying, colouring and removing your prosthetics

BALDCAP APPLICATION

Suited to all artists at all levels

Over 1 day we will cover

• The products and techniques required to create and apply a realistic vinyl bald cap

• Hair wrapping and hair preparation techniques

• Colouring your baldcap for a seamless and realistic effect 

• Easy removal

MAKEUP FUNDAMENTALS

Suited to artists wishing to learn how to apply beautiful and complementary makeup that can be used in the fashion, photography and bridal sectors

Over 5 days we will cover 

• Face eyes and lip shapes, skin types, colour theory and lighting theory

• Camouflage makeup 

• Choosing a foundation

• Contouring

• Creating beautiful no makeup makeups

• Dramatic looks

• Smokey eyes and eyeliners

• Lips and creating fuller pouts

• Applying strip lashes

TAILOR MADE COURSES

If you have a desire to learn something not listed above i can also cover a range of subjects including

• Life casting and creating a plaster positive of either half a face, a full head or limbs

• Creating a severed head or limbs for use as a prop

• Creating bespoke prosthetic pieces such as a nose or chin and producing a 2 part mould

• Learning how to break down a whole face sculpt and using the ‘float off technique’ to create a multi piece prosthetic makeup 

• Creating probondo transfers 

Upon completion of all courses you will also receive a certificate of attendance.
